Reporting Group Search Engines

The Reporting Group Search Engines dialog lists properties set for the current Reporting Group for the two supported search engines, Google and Bing.

Access this option by either:

Clicking the gear icon

in the Actions column of the SEO Reporting Groups dialog (Site Administration - Search Engine/ SEO - SEO Reporting Groups), for the desired Reporting Group, or

Clicking the Search Engines menu item from the Properties/Settings section of the SEO Administration Dashboard to view or change settings.

You cannot add or remove either of the Search Engines.

Click a column header to sort by name. This dialog displays the following columns:

Search Engine – The name of the search engine.

Rank Tracking – A flag indicating if Rank Tracking is enabled

/disabled

for the search engine. Click the icon to toggle its state.

Search Engine Visit Tracking – A flag indicating if CommonSpot should track search engine visits to your site. Click to toggle state.

Default – A flag indicating if the search engine is the default for the reporting group. Click to set the search engine as the default..

Accounts – A linked count of the number of search engine API accounts that have been set up in CommonSpot for this search engine. These accounts are used to query search engines for keyword ranking information. Click through to view individual Search Engine Accounts.

Actions – Click the edit icon

to view or change Reporting Group Search Engine Properties for this search engine. You can change default status and tracking properties.
